1. General information only

Covermate provides general information only. It reads the documents and answers you supply and highlights items to discuss with a broker. It is not personal financial product advice, does not consider your full objectives, financial situation or needs, and does not confirm whether you are or are not insured. Your insurer's policy schedule, wording and endorsements always prevail.

Covermate does not recommend that you buy, keep, change or cancel any insurance product. Any advice is provided separately by Wier Financial (ABN [ABN to be confirmed by Wier Financial], [AFSL / authorised representative number to be confirmed]) only after you ask for a review and they agree to provide it.

2. No guarantee of cover

• If something is not found in the documents you supplied, that does not mean you are not covered — it means we could not see evidence of it.
• Reports depend on the completeness and accuracy of what you upload and tell us. Missing schedules, endorsements or wordings will limit the review.
• Only your insurer can confirm cover. Their issued policy documents always prevail over anything in Covermate.

3. Your responsibilities

• You confirm you are authorised by the named business to upload its insurance documents and provide its business information.
• You must not upload documents you do not have the right to share, or information about other people beyond what the documents ordinarily contain.
• You remain responsible for your duty to disclose information to your insurer.

4. Automated reading

Covermate uses automated document reading and AI to extract facts and compare them with your answers. We check every quoted excerpt against the extracted document text and remove unsupported statements, but automated reading can still make mistakes. Always check findings against the original documents.

5. Sharing with Wier Financial

Nothing is shared with Wier Financial unless you request a review and give explicit consent at that time. Submitting a request does not book a call or create an advice relationship until Wier Financial contacts you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, Covermate is not liable for loss arising from reliance on a report, from errors in automated reading, from information you did not disclose, or from documents that were missing, incomplete or unreadable. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The version you accepted is recorded with your account and with each report you generate.
